LOCATION
Denison University is located in Granville, Ohio, which is 27 miles east of Columbus, Ohio. You will find Denison's campus on College Hill above the village.
From the East and South:
Exit Interstate 70 at Rt. 37. Travel North nine miles to Granville.
From the North:
Exit Interstate 71 at Ohio Route 31 in Mansfield and go South to Mount Vernon. Granville is 23 miles South of Mount Vernon on Ohio Route 661.
From the West, Columbus area and South of Delaware, OH:
Take Interstate 71 to 270E. Take 270E to Rt. 161. Go East on 161 to Granville.

(1949-1986)
An American astronaut who died when the Challenger space shuttle exploded, she is remembered as a gifted mathematician. Born in Akron Ohio, she studied at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh. In 1978, she joined the NASA organization where she specialized in the operation of the mechanical arm.
