  2. Check for $465.00 (room, board and educational materials)
    made out to "BE WISE CAMP"
  • *No refunds after April 15th, 2008. Fee will be returned if camp is full when application is received.

    Famous Women in Math & Science
    Grace Hopper
    (1906-1992)
    A graduate of Vassar and Yale, she worked to develop and test Common Business Oriented Language (COBOL) compilers for business applications of electronic computers. In 1969, she received the Data Processing Management "Man of the Year" award. In 1984, President Reagan promoted her to Commodore in the US Navy. She is credited with coining the word "bug" to define a computer program error.
